I don’t want to be an HVAC technician

I definitely don’t want to be an HVAC technician.

I have been working for an HVAC company for nearly 2 years, and I am sure that I don’t want to be an HVAC technician when I grow up.

I thought that I might want to be an HVAC technician. At the very least, I was willing to give the HVAC company a shot before I decided that I wouldn’t be an HVAC technician. If I did decide to become an HVAC technician, the path ahead would be pretty straight forward. My uncle is an HVAC technician, and he owns his own HVAC company. He offered me a job when I became old enough to work for him. I would work for the HVAC company during the weekends when I wasn’t at school. If I decided that I wanted to be an HVAC technician, I would have a guaranteed job with his HVAC company. I began working for the HVAC company as a gopher for the HVAC technicians. Since I wasn’t an official HVAC technician, I wasn’t allowed to fix any of the HVAC units or work alone. I was always paired up with one of the HVAC technicians. Although I mainly did all of the grunt work, sometimes they showed me cool things that I could easily fix on HVAC units. Despite all of the years that I spent with the HVAC company, it was pretty obvious that HVAC work wasn’t for me. I didn’t want to be an HVAC technician, and I didn’t like the work that much. However, I would have never known that unless I tried working for the HVAC company, and I don’t regret the time I spent working for the HVAC company.
